Hartnell College is a California Community College that serves the Salinas Valley and Northern Monterey County. The Hartnell College Foundation is the anchor organization for Bright Futures, providing support for its backbone staff, office space, and administrative functions.
California State University, Monterey Bay
CSUMB is a California State University campus that serves the Monterey Bay Area. It is a key partner in promoting college and career readiness, postsecondary completion, and transfer from local community colleges.
Monterey Peninsula College
Monterey Peninsula College is a California Community College that serves the Monterey Peninsula and Big Sur. It is a key partner in promoting college and career readiness, postsecondary completion, and transfer to four-year universities, including CSUMB.
Bright Beginnings
The Bright Beginnings Early Childhood Development Initiative works to ensure that all children have all they need to be ready for school and ready for life. Bright Futures partners with Bright Beginnings through our focus on early care/education and kindergarten readiness.
First 5 Monterey County
First 5 Monterey County works to enrich the lives of children, prenatal through age five, and their families by strengthening connections and advancing quality within a whole system of care and support. First 5 is a key leader in the community supporting early care and education.
The Monterey County Office of Education (MCOE) provides the leadership, professional development, and other support to school leaders, teachers, and staff throughout the county. MCOE works to prepare the diverse students of Monterey County for success in each step of their educational journey.
The Salinas Union High School District is Monterey County's largest school district, serving over 16,000 middle and high school students in the City of Salinas.
United Way Monterey County
United Way for Monterey County partners with leaders throughout the community to improve housing, earl care and education, and financial stability for all people. IMPACT Monterey County is an initiative of UWMC that seeks to align community members around shared goals elated to education, safety, economic self-sufficiency, and health. IMPACT Monterey County conducts a countywide survey of youth and adult aspirations that supports the work of many organizations as they seek to align with community needs.
Monterey Bay Economic Partnership (MBEP)
MBEP brings together leaders in public, private, and civic organizations to improve the economic health and quality of life in the region. MBEP partners with Bright Futures through its Workforce Development initiative, which seeks to create pathways to promising careers and connect students with educational and vocational opportunities. Monterey Bay Career Connect offers free college and career readiness resources and Monterey Bay Internships connects local employers with students seeking work experience.
Strive Together
Strive Together is a national leader supporting a network of cradle to career partnerships focused on ensuring that every child has every chance to succeed regardless of race, ethnicity, poverty or circumstance. Strive Together supports its partners to use data and relationships to advance equity in educational attainment for all students.
