Project | Monterey Bay Career Connect

Young adults complete a career pathway, program or degree that qualifies them to enter a promising career.


Monterey Bay Career Connect is a one-stop hub for college and career exploration available for free to the communities in the Monterey Bay Region.

Scope of Work


    Attend community and college events relevant to career and college exploration.


    Create marketing materials, educator toolkit, online resources, and workshop content.


    Develop new partnerships with local community organizations and schools in the Monterey Bay region.


    Promote and share partner success stories, new career pathways, resources, and events via Monterey Bay Career Connect e-newsletter, press releases, social media, and email campaigns.


  • By September 2018, incorporate Cabrillo College academic programs into Monterey Bay Career Coach-accomplished
  • By October 2018, launch quarterly Monterey Bay Career Connect newsletter to the education community-accomplished
  • By December 2018, increase site visits to Monterey Bay Career Coach by 40%
  • By January 2019, increase social media engagement by 50%


Working with Santa Cruz County and Monterey County Offices of Education, our team is sharing Monterey Bay Career Connect with middle school, high school, alternative and adult education learners.

Attending local college campus events (i.e. career and resource fairs), our team is sharing Monterey Bay Career Connect with college students and career centers.

A quarterly e-newsletter was sent to ~ 300 educators and workforce development contacts in the Monterey Bay region to promote use of the site and share resources.
