Valley Health Associates (VHA) is a nonprofit provider of treatment for substance abuse disorder. VHA specializes in Medication Assisted Treatment and offers outpatient drug treatment for adults and youth. VHA recently launched its Youth Outpatient Treatment Program, the first in Salinas, to support youth ages 12-24 and their families in recovery from substance abuse. The program is designed to improve family connectedness, healthy friendships, school engagement, and goal-setting skills for youth participants.
